1. Laerskool Bredasdorp
Waar plattelandse waardes en groot geleenthede saamkom
Met 741 leerders en 31 onderwysers van Graad RR tot Graad 7 is Laerskool Bredasdorp ’n gevestigde skool wat ’n belangrike rol in die plaaslike gemeenskap speel. Klasse bestaan gemiddeld uit 30 leerders.
Die skool bied ’n uitgebreide reeks sport- en kultuuraktiwiteite aan, waaronder atletiek, swem, mini-krieket, tennis, krieket, tweekamp, rugby, netbal, hokkie en skaak. Op kulturele gebied kan leerders deelneem aan koor, kuns en redenaars.
Vir jonger leerders is BD Nasorg, gebaseer by Huis Eloff, beskikbaar vir Graad RR tot Graad 3 vanaf 12:00 tot 17:00. Gr.4. - 7 leerders kan by die koshuis as Dagstudente inskakel wat studiehulp onder toesig voorsien.
Die skool plaas ook klem op verryking en die ontwikkeling van vaardighede buite die gewone klaskamer. ’n Verrykingsentrum bied ondersteuning aan leerders wat dit benodig, terwyl die skool se “Rekke Gym” tot voordeel van die leerders en verskeie sportkodes gebruik word.

Die skool het tans 125 leerders, vanaf voorskoolse vlak op driejarige ouderdom tot en met Graad 7, en verwelkom kinders uit omliggende gemeenskappe soos Riviersonderend, Greyton, Van Brakel, Napier en Bredasdorp.
Een van die grootste voordele van die skool se kleiner formaat is die klasgroottes. Van Graad 1 tot Graad 7 wissel die leerdertal tans tussen 7 en 16 leerders per graad. Rûens Kollege se sportprogram sluit in die somer tweekamp, krieket, tennis, swem en atletiek, terwyl landloop, rugby en netbal gedurende die winter aangebied word.

South Gate is an English-medium school and describes itself as the only registered private school in the Cape Agulhas area where a learner can progress from preschool through to matric.
The school follows an alternative Christian curriculum aligned with CAPS, together with an advanced American high school diploma pathway. It also makes use of a digital curriculum and learning platform.

Zoetendal is an independent, Christian value-based school, dual-medium Afrikaans and English primary school, catering for learners from Grade RR to Grade 7.
With just over 100 learners and a team of approximately 10 to 12 staff members, the school has very small classes and focuses on individual attention and what it describes as "heelbrein-ontwikkeling" — developing the child as a whole.
The school follows the national CAPS curriculum, supplemented by practical projects such as woodwork, giving learners opportunities to learn through doing as well as through traditional classroom work.
Sport with a difference
One of Zoetendal's most distinctive sporting activities is its triathlon.
The school hosts both an internal and inter-school triathlon, making use of its extraordinary natural surroundings.
