Charles Beresford Everitt
Known in the South African and International real estate industry as Berry Everitt. Growing up in the real estate industry under the guidance of Charles and Tilla Everitt, founders of Chas Everitt, Berry has been exposed to all aspects of the industry. He began his career in the financial industry as a trainee liquidator at Arthur Young Trust and Management and studying a CIS in Durban, he began to develop his skills in the financial and business arena. These self same skills serendipitously ended up with him joining the family business and becoming MD in 1998. In 2001 Berry won the Property Professional Club's Young Lion Award and the Industry's Mover and Shaker Award in 2003. Recipient of the international President's Choice Award in Vienna 2017 from Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and Luxury Portfolio International's Ambassador award 2018 in Las Vegas.
Director of Franchising
In 2003 Barry Davies joined Chas Everitt as a partner at the inception of the Franchising of the Group after serving as the CEO of another National Real Estate Brand and bringing many years of Franchising experience to the team.
His joining was followed closely by a rapid growth in Chas Everitt franchise outlets across South Africa as the company moved from a strong regional player to a national home-grown South African family brand. He remains heavily involved in the growth of the Sales Franchise, Rentals and Notebook License footprint.
Maria De Villiers

Western Cape Regional Manager
Maria has been active in the real estate industry for the past 17 years with involvement, experience and education ranging from valuations & sales to management, training and developments. During the early 2000's she has owned and managed a successful real estate franchise in Stellenbosch.
After spending 3 years as a Real Estate trainer and business consultant in the Western Cape, she joined the franchising environment again as a Regional Manager & Trainer for another national real estate group.
She joined Chas Everitt in 2014 as Regional Manager. Her portfolio currently includes the Western Cape and Garden Route, as well as the Chas Everitt Training Academy.
National Rentals Manager
I started my Real Estate career in 2000 as an estate agent and in 2005 became a Principal and Share Holder of a Real Estate Company specialising in Residential & Commercial Real Estate services. Over my past 18 years in Real Estate I've been involved in various management positions, with some very well-known and respected Real Estate Franchise Companies in Southern Africa. This includes support to over 200 Real Estate Franchise Offices, and over 1500 Franchisees, Principals, Agents, Managers and Admin Staff. My involvement, knowledge and education includes most aspects within the Residential, Commercial and Retail Real Estate Industries, and my education is in Business Management, Law, Real Estate, Insurance, and Digital Marketing.
Northern Regional Manager
Madeleine have over 15 years experience in the property industry. Which started in the property Finance industry at Betterbond, SA Homeloans and FNB respectively. She joined Seeff in 2009 and started in the Distressed Property division and moved up into the Regional Support position. She joined the Chas Everitt family and started in July 2017 as Regional Manager for the Northern Division.
National Marketing Manager
Amanda's career in Real Estate began in 1995 at a Real Estate office in Newlands, Cape Town, which eventually merged with the Constantiaberg franchise.
After spending a couple of years overseas in Jersey, the Channel Islands in the Offshore Banking world, she returned in time to the launching of the franchising of Chas Everitt in 2005 and joined the team to kick off the first 5 franchises in the Western Cape and has grown with the company as it has rolled out Nationally
KZN Regional Manager
Wayne Lombard has been involved in the real estate sector for the last 7 years. As a former senior key account manager at Korbitec (propert24), he gained an in-depth understanding of the South African property portal industry and deeds office information systems. He was one of the youngest members to join the management team of another national real estate group where he was involved with the design, development, and delivery of various IT systems and processes. Wayne achieved a National Diploma in Human Resource management from the South African Board for Peoples Practices as well as an advanced qualification in Leadership and change management from USB-Ed Stellenbosch University. Wayne joined the Chas Everitt team in early 2019 and is helping to drive innovation and change as the brand lives up to its promise to strive for continual improvement.
