The top achiever in the rental category at our 2026 National Awards ceremony was the Rustenburg office, which secured the number one national rankings for office income, office units and overall office performance.
In addition, the top individual accolade in the category went to Rustenburg agent Phillip Thomas, who was named National Rental Agent of the Year after topping both the income and units sections. His exceptional year was further recognised with a Diamond Rental Individual award.
Other rental winners included:
- Theo Govender of the Durban Central office who was named National New Entrant in the rentals category and also earned a Platinum Rental Individual award;
- Betro van Zyl and Stephanie Joubert of Paarl Lifestyle Estates who received a Platinum Rental Team award;
- Nicky Krupski of the Whale Coast office who received a Young Lioness recognition award in addition to a Platinum Rental Individual award; and
- Linda van Geems and Joyce Diale of Rustenburg who both featured among the Platinum Rental Individual winners, alongside Lizette Botha of Cape Town Metro, Treston Shaw and Hettie Jacobs of Rustenburg, Leanne Pillay of KZN North Coast, Lisa Bowles of Randburg, Janene Loxton of Hout Bay and Samantha Ollewagen of Lowveld.
During the evening several individuals were also honoured for their contributions to the broader Chas Everitt brand and culture, including:
- Evelyn Mbundire and Trevor Jakachira who were named as the Brand Ambassadors of the Year;
- Rory O’Hagan, who received the CEO’s Award;
- Wayne Lombard who received the CEO’s Master of Change award;
- Ryan Kourie, who received the Leadership Award;
- Dean Meijer, who received the Visionary Franchisee award;
- Beverley Chapman, recipient of The Anchor award;
- Melissa van Zyl of Randburg, who won the National Customer Service award,
- Carol Ziman and Helena Fourie, who received Dedicated Service awards;
- Ruard Briel, who received an Exemplary Service Award; and
- Consultant Richard Wright, who was honoured with the Industry North Star award.
The group also celebrated the energy and innovation of its rising stars, with Young Lion awards going to Nuno Brizido and Tertius Olivier, and more Young Lioness awards to Yolandie Goosen and Mardi Botha.
Bernadine Roos of KZN North Coast and Robert Baron Jones of Waterfall received Movers & Shakers awards, while Rustenburg franchisee Deon du Plessis took home the Grit & Glory award.
