The home is built on a natural spring and the water is captured in a holding tank and filtered twice before feeding the house. The water has been tested and it is as pure as water can get. The entire house is fed from the harvested water with the exception of one tap on the boundary which has to be connected to municipal water by law. The excess water flows into the dam. The spring water flows at a rate of 8000 litres per day throughout the year so the home should never need to use municipal water. There is an additional on-demand pump buy the dam which feeds the garden taps. The dam has a variety of fish in it. Should the electricity be off and the pump not functioning there is a lever to change to municipal water.

The Estate is an Equestrian estate with stables and arenas - the stables are leased by the home owners separately.
