Eagle Canyon Golf Estate General Area Information

The Eagle Canyon Golf Estate has a unique history and originally comprised of around 16 smallholdings. After one of the residents discovered and began extracting decomposed granite from the area, the land was soon bought out by larger companies with mining rights. It was then turned into a large quarry for around forty or so years before residential property as such began to emerge, culminating into the luxurious Eagle Canyon so many Johannesburg real estate owners have come to appreciate today. Directions to Eagle Canyon Golf Estate

If you are making your way to the estate from the R28 (Krugersdorp Highway, you will need to take the Zwartkop/Randburg off-ramp. Then you will turn left at the top off the off-ramp into Beyers Naude Drive. Carry on over Peter Road and then at the 2nd traffic light after Peter Road which is Blueberry Avenue, you will turn right and the entrance gate is around 800 metres away on the right. 

If you are travelling via the concrete highway (N1 Western Bypass), you will need to take the Beyers Naude Drive off-ramp (85) where you will turn to the left if you are heading in from the Roodepoort side or take a right if you are coming from the Sandton/Johannesburg side. Travel along Beyers Naude and the turn left into Christian De Wet Road. At your 1st traffic light turn right and follow the road which curves to the right - you will find the main Eagle Canyon entrance around 600 metres down on the left.
