Universitas en Parkwes is gewilde woonbuurtes  in Bloemfontein, die hoofstad van die Vrystaat.
Hierdie woonbuurtes is baie sentraal geleë naby skole soos Grey Kollege, Eunice, Universitas Primêre Skool, Jim Fouche Hoër- en Laerskool, asook tersiêre  instellings soos die Universiteit van die Vrystaat en Die Sentrale Universiteit van Tegnologie.
Verskeie sportsentrums is ook naby, soos bv die Vrystaatstadion, die Krieketstadion en die Stadionswembad.

Universitas Eiendomme

Universitas is maklik toeganklik vanaf die N1, maar kan ook maklik bereik word vanaf Bloemfontein se sentrale besigheidsentrums.
Die hoofingang vanaf Kimberley eindig in Parkwes, ‘n woonbuurt waarvan sommige eiendomme reeds besigheidsregte het.

Die area binne Pres Paul Krugerlaan is ouer groot huise en verkoop tot R1,5 miljoen.  Die area is gewild omdat dit naby Universitas Primêre Skool is en die kinders geen hoofweg hoef oor te steek oppad huis toe nie.

Daar is ook verskeie aftreeoorde in die area wat baie gesog is.
