KwaZulu Natal is a South African province on the eastern side of the country, bordering Lesotho, Swaziland and Mozambique, and with a shoreline to the Indian Ocean. Next to it lie Mpumalanga, Free state and the Eastern Cape provinces.

KwaZulu Natal is also home to the famous and historical city of Pietermaritzburg, commonly referred to as “Maritzburg”. This historical city was home to the Famous Mahatma Gandhi for a time, after his legendarily having being thrown off a moving train at Pietermaritzburg.
