Within the boundaries of the area are three restricted access sections. Palm Street, Bagley terrace and recently several streets around the water tower have been “boomed” off to create the Northcliff Eco park area.

There are plans underway to develop Northcliff Koppie and water tower area into a heritage and educational facility.
