Chas Everitt consolidates on Far East Rand
The group of four Chas Everitt International offices on the Far East Rand has cementing its market position in the region with the opening of a fifth office in Heidelberg.
The group of offices with agencies in Benoni, Brakpan, Nigel and Springs converted to the Chas Everitt brand in May last year
Patsy Pretorius, CEO of Chas Everitt Far East Rand, says the group became active in the Heidelberg area soon after the conversion, mainly thanks to word-of-mouth referrals from existing clients.
"The need for a physical office in Heidelberg soon became apparent and with the brand's successful penetration of the whole region, we were able to open one sooner than we expected.
"Our growth in turnover in the past year has been phenomenal and the brand's reception in the market was exceptional. We have not looked back since joining Chas Everitt International."
She adds that the opening of the Heidelberg office is actually cause for a double celebration because Trevor Visser, until now the manager of the Benoni office, has become a partner in the new agency and will act as principal.
"This is very much in line with the group's philosophy of promoting sustainable organic growth and developing the potential of our agents."
The Heidelberg office has a complement of five agents and Pretorius and husband Louis, who acts as group manager of the Far East Rand offices, are the other shareholders.
And with the fifth office now open, Pretorius says, the brand is well positioned to consolidate its presence in the region. "Our five offices will
now enable us to give a dedicated service to clients on the whole Far East Rand."
