businessman Michael van Niekerk has been appointed as sales manager of the Chas
Everitt International office in Knysna.
Van Niekerk, who joined the fast-growing real estate group 18 months ago, has extensive experience in high-pressure business environments. Formerly SAA's general manager of operations in Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Sri Lanka, he was also charged with advising the airline on customer care, code of conduct issues and compensation policies.
Chas Everitt International MD Berry Everitt says the company has found the ideal candidate in Van Niekerk: "Knysna is a very prominent office and we needed someone with a strong track record of service delivery for this management position, because our business is about more than real estate - it's about people, and our commitment to exemplary service.
