Pets (max two cats or dogs - with restrictions on certain breeds) are permitted in the freestanding houses within Simbithi Eco Estate. All pets must be registered.

BUILDING IN SIMBITHI ECO ESTATE
Many prospective purchasers of Simbithi Eco Estate property ask the question - "When do I have to build by?" The good news is that there is not a build by date provision in the Estate, however, once construction commences after approvals, homes must be completed within 15 months or will be subject to a monthly penalty fee should construction not be complete within this time frame.

Getting to Simbithi Eco Estate From Durban or King Shaka International Airport:
Take the N2 north. Pass through the Tugela Toll Plaza and take the 212 (Shakasrock Road) exit. At the T junction, turn right and go over the N2 bridge. Proceed for 500m & on your right hand side is the Simbithi Administration office and main gate entrance to Simbithi Eco Estate.
Getting to Simbithi Eco Estate on the M4 North from Durban or King Shaka International Airport:
Proceed north on the M4. Go past the traffic lights near the Alberlito Hospital. At the roundabout go left. Proceed to the next roundabout and go straight over towards the N2. Cross over the bridge of the N2 and take the on ramp to the N2. Take the first exit 212 (Shakasrock Road) and proceed as per above directions for N2.

GOLF COURSE - SIMBITHI COUNTRY CLUB
The Simbithi Country Club is a 61 par Executive 18 Hole Peter Matkovich Golf Course (designed to US GA specs) together with its own Pro Shop and stunning Halfway House facilities.

The costs of membership start at around R3600 per annum which would include your green fees for the first member. The fees for spouses (or dependents who are under 21) drop down to around R1200 per annum. Renting a golf carts in Simbithi will cost you around R150. SAGA affiliation costs are about R300 annually.

The Fig Tree Restaurant (032 946 5403) offers a great contemporary selection of foods and light meals. Operating hours are from Tuesday to Saturday 0700 - 2200 and on Sundays from 0700 - 1700.  Wednesdays are traditionally buffet Curry nights. The Fig Tree is often used to host theme evenings and Quiz Nights making it a popular port of call for Simbithi homeowners.
